Senior Helpers McKinney is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in Prosper, Texas, and surrounding areas. This role involves shifts from 4 to 12 hours in the healthcare industry. The caregiver will assist senior clients in their homes, aiming to improve their quality of life by promoting independence and ensuring safety and well-being.

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly wage of $14 to $15, paid biweekly. Opportunities for growth, ongoing paid training, and support are also available.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, and eating.
2. Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): managing finances and medications, food prep, housekeeping, and laundry.
3. Provide compassionate, person-centered care in clients' homes.
4. Accompany clients to appointments and engage in meaningful activities.
5. Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
7. Respect clients' privacy and confidentiality.
8. Assist with errands and appointments.
9. Encourage socialization and mental stimulation through conversations and activities.
10. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of professional experience working with seniors.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Social Security Card.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude.
• Passionate about helping others.
• Enjoy customer service and communication.
• Desire to make a positive community impact.
