Discovery Senior Living in Phoenixville, PA is seeking a Caregiver to enrich the lives of seniors and build meaningful connections. You will provide hands-on care in a home-like environment, ensuring safety and comfort for residents, and support daily living activities with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and support to residents during shift
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring and eating
• Respond promptly to security alarms and call bells
• Promote independence, dignity, safety and well-being for residents
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and enrichment programs
• Notify supervisor or health care coordinator of increased care needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your Role

As the Caregiver, your role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Position Highlights

• Status: Full and Part Time
• Schedule: 7a-pm, 3p-11p, 11p-7a - All positions require every other weekend
• Location: 3000 Balfour Circle Phoenixville PA 19460
• Rate of Pay: $18 - $20 per hour Shift Differential for 3-11p and 11p-7a

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks
• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
