Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to enrich the lives of residents and provide hands-on care in a home-like setting. You will support daily activities, assist with bathing, grooming, and mobility, and respond to resident needs with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications include a preferred CNA certification, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to manage priorities while maintaining resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED is required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with seniors is preferred
• Strong communication with residents, team members and leadership
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with great customer service
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during shift and conduct frequent checks
• Provide daily personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells
• Promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and enrichment programs
• Notify supervisor or health care coordinator if care needs increase
• Perform other duties as assigned

As the Caregiver, your role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

What You’ll Do:
