Job summary

DJC Rock Home Care in the Greater Phoenix Area is seeking a full-time, on-site caregiver to assist clients with daily living activities, meals, and light housekeeping. The role requires reliable, patient individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a home-care setting. Prior home care experience is beneficial.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role located in the Greater Phoenix Area. Caregivers assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. Responsibilities include preparing meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and helping with errands or transportation as needed. The role also involves providing companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities, and monitoring changes in their physical or emotional well-being. Caregivers follow individualized care plans, document services provided, communicate concerns to supervisors, and uphold safety and infection control standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care and support with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance).
• Ability to offer compassionate companionship, emotional support, and engagement in social or recreational activities.
• Skills in basic household management, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and organization of the home environment.
• Knowledge of safe client handling, fall prevention, and basic safety and infection control practices in home care settings.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and supervisors, and for accurately documenting care provided.
• Reliability, patience, integrity, and the ability to work independently while following care plans and agency policies.
• Prior experience in home care, senior care, dementia care, or related caregiving fields is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant caregiving certifications (e.g., CNA, caregiver training) are a plus.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting or supporting clients as needed, and working varied shifts.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background and reference checks as required.
