Job summary

Senior Helpers - West Valley is seeking compassionate caregivers for morning to mid-afternoon shifts. If you’ve cared for seniors or provided in-home care, we’d love to hear from you. This part-time daytime role focuses on helping clients start their day with dignity and safety in their own homes.

You’ll offer companionship, personal care, mobility support, and routine tasks, while maintaining independence for clients. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for caregivers who have caregiving experience, even if it’s just family experience.
• A caring, dependable attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Ability to follow a client’s care plan and communicate clearly with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with mobility and transportation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping.
• Assist with errands and everyday activities.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition.
• Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Senior Helpers is looking for caring, dependable caregivers with some caregiving experience who are available during the morning through mid-afternoon hours.

If you’ve worked with seniors, provided in-home care, assisted a family member, or have experience in a caregiving setting, we’d love to hear from you!

Turn Your Daytime Hours Into Something Meaningful

Your day might start with helping a client get ready for the morning, sharing a cup of coffee and conversation, preparing lunch, assisting with errands or mobility, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Every visit is an opportunity to make someone’s day better.

What You’ll Do

Depending on each client’s needs, you may:

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care

If you’re an early bird, prefer daytime hours, or like having your evenings free, this could be the perfect fit for you.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

We’re looking for caregivers who have some previous caregiving experience, even it it's just family experience!

Experience with seniors, personal care, companionship, dementia care, or in-home caregiving is a plus!

Not every caregiver starts with years of experience — but the right attitude, reliability, compassion, and willingness to learn go a long way.
