Job summary

A leading senior care service provider is seeking Part Time CARE Professionals in Okeechobee, Florida. This is an opportunity to support seniors by providing companionship and assistance with daily activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparations, and reminders for medication. While prior caregiver experience is preferred, training is provided to ensure you can make a difference in seniors' lives. A valid Florida driver’s license and willingness to undergo a background check are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 years old.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check and DMV/drug screen.
• Possess a valid Florida driver’s license and auto insurance with you listed as driver.
• Willingness to obtain a current CPR Certification Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and care for seniors.
• Assist with daily living activities like light housekeeping.
• Ensure a safe environment for seniors.
• Remind and assist with medications and appointments.

Home Instead is looking for Part Time CARE Professionals to work our "Prime time" hours of 8:00 am - 6:00pm, but welcome all available shifts. Home Instead offers a safe environment for all CARE Pros and will provide appropriate PPE.

Prior Caregiver experience is Preferred but is not required, skills training is provided by Home Instead.

Requirements For CARE Pro Candidates

• Must be over 21 years old
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate effectively, including writing and verbal skills
• Have or willing to complete a criminal background check, Office will check DMV record and perform drug screen
• Possess a valid FL. driver’s license and valid auto insurance with the candidate listed as a driver
• Have or be willing to obtain a current CPR Certification Card.
