Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers for flexible, in-home support across multiple service areas. You will provide non-medical care, transport clients, help with daily living tasks, and offer companionship.

We offer competitive hourly pay, direct deposit, PTO, holidays, health and dental benefits, a 401(k), and ongoing training. Open availability is preferred; prior caregiver experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed
