Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring in Connecticut to provide compassionate, non-medical home care across multiple service areas. Flexible shifts include Weekdays, Weekends, overnights, and Live-In options with a competitive hourly rate and referral bonuses.

Caregivers assist with activities of daily living, transport clients to appointments, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship while following individualized plans of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
