Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands-on care and build meaningful relationships with residents in New Jersey. You will assist with daily activities, follow care plans, and support families and care leaders to ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication and a welcoming environment, with paid training and opportunities for growth within Sunrise’s caring community.

Qualifications

• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills required.
• Ability to follow care plans and document changes accurately.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid if not current.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• Create enriching experiences in Memory Care for residents with memory loss.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+


• CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain)


• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Pay Range: 18.92 - 23.65
