Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Edgewater, NJ, is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands-on personal care and build meaningful relationships with residents. You will assist with ADLs, follow ISPs, promote safety and independence, and engage residents in daily activities, including dining support and memory care enrichment.

This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and strong communication while offering paid training, benefits, and growth opportunities in a rewarding, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss

Pay Range: 18.92 - 23.65
