Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team, delivering non-medical in-home care that helps seniors age in place with dignity, respect, and personalized attention every day. You will work one-on-one with clients, providing companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and assistance with daily living tasks as needed.

We offer flexible schedules, fast track to hire, paid mileage between same-day shifts, unlimited

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, but CNA/HHA or 6+ months caregiving for seniors preferred.
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Daily access to email, Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties, including lifting/pushing/pulling ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Compassionate heart for older adults; excellent communication skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as feeding, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep.
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship


• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed


• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings


• Standby assistance with transfers


• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred


• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus


• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone


• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)


• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
