Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team, providing one-on-one non-medical care to help seniors age in place in their own homes. You will work with clients individually, delivering care with empathy, excellence, and integrity to enhance quality of life.

We offer fast track to hire, flexible schedules, paid mileage between same-day shifts, and opportunities for advancement. Training and development are provided, with uniforms and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, but CNA/HHA preferred.
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Must have daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.
• Must be physically able to lift/push/pull ~25 lbs. with proof of valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship for clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, cooking).
• Transport to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship


• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed


• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred


• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus


• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone


• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)


• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
