Job summary

REM West Virginia, part of Sevita, is seeking a Caregiver to provide compassionate care in a group home or waiver setting. You will support participants with daily living activities, help with budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition, and build meaningful relationships with individuals served.

We offer a pay on demand option, full benefits for full-time employees, and a 3% company matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.

What You’ll bring to Sevita as a Caregiver at REM West Virginia:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.

Skills:

Cooking, cleaning, assisting with personal care, such as eating, dressing, bathing and toileting and the ability to stay calm and problem solve in stressful situations

Behaviors:

Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible

Vehicle:

Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in some positions
