Job summary

REM Community Services, a Sevita family organization, is seeking a weekend caregiver in Minneapolis. Pay is $16/hr for a part-time schedule: every other Saturday and Sunday, 8am–8pm. You will support individuals with personal care and daily activities, helping them live well and participate in community life.

We value compassion, patience, and reliability. Qualifications include a High School Diploma and at least six months in human services; a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support individuals with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide patient, compassionate, reliable care and safety for participants.
• Document and communicate participant progress with supervisors as needed.
