Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for our clients by providing essential support and companionship.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Administer medications and monitor medication schedules, as directed.
3. Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding if necessary.
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
5. Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying.
6. Escort clients to medical appointments, errands, and social outings.
7. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
8. Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as healthcare professionals.
9. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, but not required.
2. Compassion and empathy for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
5. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
6. Physical ability to lift and assist with mobility when required.
