Job summary

Chesapeake Caregivers in Maryland is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional care to clients. You will assist individuals with daily activities, personal care, and ensure their well-being in a supportive home-care setting.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, medication reminders, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and strict HIPAA compliance to protect client privacy.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medication reminders as per client's care plan.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning clients.
• Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document client's progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality.
• Respect and uphold resident rights throughout all interactions.
