Job summary

A caregiving staffing agency is seeking a Caregiver to work 12-hour shifts in Marietta, GA. Candidates must have experience in assisted living or home community care, knowledge of monitoring vital signs, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring their health, and ensuring a safe environment. The position offers flexible scheduling and includes benefits such as paid orientation and training.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in assisted living or home community care preferred.
• Knowledge of patient monitoring and vital signs assessment is a must.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• Must pass a TB test and physical exam within 1 year.
• English proficiency is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

• Complete proxy/caregiver training.
• Background check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Monitor vital signs and provide companionship.
• Assist with mobility and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Observe and document behavioral/physical changes.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for residents.

Position: Caregiver

Schedule: 12‑hour shifts (Morning, Overnight, On‑call); availability Monday–Friday, weekends, and holidays

Must Have’s

• Experience in assisted living or home community care (1 year preferred)
• Knowledge of patient monitoring and vital signs assessment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and assist residents safely
• English proficiency
• CPR/First Aid certified
• TB test and physical exam within 1 year
• Complete proxy/caregiver training
• Complete criminal background check

Plusses

• Familiarity with dementia care
• Certification in social work or related fields
