Job summary

Total Care Connections in Arizona is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support for veterans, elderly, and disabled clients. You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and errands, while building a trusting, supportive relationship.

Flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts available; earn $15–$20 per hour with daily pay options. Training is provided, and a reliable vehicle with license may be required for client transport.

Qualifications

• A year of caregiving experience is a plus, or a willingness to learn (training provided).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and be able to handle emergencies.
• Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and driver’s license for client transport.
• Pass a background check, drug screening, and work verification.
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds and perform physical activities like bending and kneeling.

Caregiver Requirements

Your Day-to-Day

• Engage with clients to support their daily lives in-home

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes
• Provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in the customized personal care service plan created for every client
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
