Caregiver Responsibilities

• Comprehensive daily care: personal care, hygiene, cognitive support, and overall wellness.
• Homemaking support: light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, hydration, and nutrition support.
• Transfer assistance: training provided for gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts.
• Reliable transportation: driving clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Medication reminders: helping clients manage their medication schedules safely.
• Exercise & mobility support: daily movement assistance and physical‑activity encouragement.
• Companionship: building trusted relationships through conversation and presence.
• Monitoring & reporting: communicating changes in client well‑being to appropriate supervisors, families, and care teams.

Caregiver Requirements

• Have a reliable vehicle.
• Possess a valid driver’s licence and auto insurance.
• Pass a background, motor‑vehicle, CAPS and reference check.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 pounds.
• Must receive a flu shot annually.
