Job summary

Extended Family Home Care is seeking caregivers to provide one‑on‑one in‑home care for seniors and adults in Southern New Hampshire and Coastal Maine. Roles include PCA and LNA with flexible schedules, supportive team, and opportunities for career growth.

You will support clients to stay safe, comfortable, and independent, delivering compassionate care in the comfort of their own homes.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with ADLs including dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation.
• Provide medication reminders (non‑medical).
• Document care in a daily log (health, wellbeing, and activities).

Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregiver Requirements & Preferences

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle
• Open availability strongly preferred
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Experience is a plus (not always required):
• PCA (Personal Care Aide)
• LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant)
• Caregiver, companion, or similar roles
