Sevita is seeking a Caregiver in Lawrence Township, NJ, to provide essential support and companionship to clients with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex needs. The role includes helping with daily activities, transportation, meals, and safety, in both home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Proof of non-probationary driver's license held for at least one year.
• Ability to attend orientation (Tuesday–Friday, Daytime).
• Minimum age 18 and successful background check clearance.

• Ability and willingness to safely bend and lift to assist clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments utilizing company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Ensure overall safety and well-being of clients.
• Use proper lifting and bending techniques to physically support clients.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

FULL TIME | 3p-11p (40)

Starting Pay: $16.25/hour

• Additional $0.50/hour for 1–4 years of experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for 5+ years of experience
