Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative unit seeks compassionate caregivers to support individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries. This full-time role covers 3p–11:30p or 11p–7:30a shifts, including every other weekend.

You will assist with daily living, mobility, meals, and transport, while delivering dignified, person-centered care. Starting pay is $13/hour with additional differentials for education, experience, and credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months–1 year caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting others.
• Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility.
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served.
• Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Hiring for FULL TIME (3p-11:30p and 11p-7:30a) - includes E/O weekend

Starting Pay

$13/hour | Additional differentials for education, experience and credentials

• Additional $0.50/hour for 1–3 years of experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for 3+ years of experience
