Loving Hands Home Care Agency is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support for clients, helping with daily activities to uphold dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Hours: 8 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 12 am. Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental & Vision benefits, and a 401K after 1 year or 1,000 hours. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Formación

• Experience in healthcare or in-home care (minimum 1 year).
• Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
• Willingness to drive clients' van.
• Non-Smoker
• Excellent compassion and ability to work one-on-one.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and basic needs (showering, dressing, eating).
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the house or to appointments.
• Assist with meals and physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties and report unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Offer daily living activities and assist with meals if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Requirements

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standard.
• Must be comfortable driving clients van and transporting her in it.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day.
• Hoyer experience or willing/capable of training.
• Urinary Catheterization experience or knowledge or willing/capable training.
• Non-Smoker
• No long or acrylic nails
