Loving Hands Home Care Agency in Lansing, MI is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients at home. You’ll assist with daily activities, ensure dignity, independence, and quality of life, and coordinate with families.

Hours are 8 am–4 pm or 4 pm–12 am. Requires valid driver’s license, reliable daily transportation, and prior healthcare or in-home care experience. Training available for Hoyer lifts and catheterization as needed.

Qualifikationen

We're looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide exceptional support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll assist with daily activities while helping individuals maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Hours: 8 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 12 am

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Requirements

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standard.
• Must be comfortable driving clients van and transporting her in it.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day.
• Hoyer experience or willing/capable of training.
• Urinary Catheterization experience or knowledge or willing/capable training.
• Non-Smoker
• No long or acrylic nails
