Home Instead is seeking dependable Care Professionals for established part-time day, evening, and weekend shifts in Stitzer and Bloomington, Wisconsin. You’ll support older adults with personal care, mobility, companionship, and daily living tasks to help maintain independence.

Ideal candidates have patience, reliability, and the ability to adapt care plans. Driving clients and providing hands-on care are common responsibilities; weekend premiums apply for some shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care when required.
• Experience with dementia or similar care is valuable.
• Patience, reliability, good judgment, communication, and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Provide dementia support with cueing and redirection as needed.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and transfers.
• Maintain fall-risk awareness and provide standby supervision.
• Prepare meals and monitor hydration and nutrition.
• Give medication reminders and follow routines.
• Offer companionship, conversation, games, and engagement.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and home organization.
• Grocery shopping, errands, appointments, and outings when needed.
• Communicate clearly and document care activities thoroughly.

Part-Time Day, Evening & Weekend Shifts | $16–$18/hour

Home Instead is looking for dependable, compassionate Care Professionals to support clients in Stitzer and Bloomington, Wisconsin.

These are established recurring assignments where consistency matters. We are looking for Care Pros who enjoy building relationships with older adults, can confidently support changing care needs, and understand that great care means helping someone remain as safe, independent, and connected as possible.

Current Open Shifts

Stitzer, WI

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8:00 AM–10:0 0 AM

This client assignment requires a Care Pro comfortable withhands-on personal care, mobility and fall-risk support, dementia/forgetfulness, meal preparation, and household assistance. Both clients use walkers, and one requires hands-on stabilization with shower transfers.

The right Care Pro will also understand the importance of connecting before directing. Gentle redirection, patience, humor, and conversation are important parts of successfully supporting this client while preserving their independence.

Bloomington, WI

• 4:00 PM–9:00 PM

This assignment is a great fit for someone who enjoys companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, errands, outings, light housekeeping, and helping a client stay engaged in her normal routine. The client is largely independent but benefits from gentle reminders, standby safety support, and meaningful companionship.

Care Pros may also assist with grocery shopping, appointments, and errands, so applicants must be comfortable driving a client in their own insured vehicle.

We want Care Professionals who are patient, observant, dependable, and able to adjust their approach to the person they're caring for. Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:

Reliable attendance is especially important. Our clients depend on familiar Care Pros showing up when expected and building a relationship over time.

Pay & Benefits

Competitive Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour

+$1.00/hour for weekend shifts

Requirements

Applicants must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. You should be comfortable driving clients when needed and willing to provide hands-on personal care for assignments that require it.

Experience with dementia or personal care is valuable, but just as important are patience, reliability, good judgment, communication, and a genuine desire to build relationships with the people you serve.
