Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Durant, IA is hiring caring individuals to provide in-home support for seniors. You’ll build trusted relationships, assist with daily activities, and help clients stay safe and independent at home.

Join a compassionate team with flexible schedules, paid training, and opportunities for advancement. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are helpful to transport clients to appointments and community activities.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred (CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and build trusted relationships.
• Assist with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and meal prep.
• Support mobility, safety, and independence at home.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Provide personal care (bathing, hygiene, toileting as needed).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and daily routines.
