Job summary

Garden View Place in the United States is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate care to residents in our senior living community. The role requires assisting with daily living activities, meals, and safety, while upholding our values of hospitality, stewardship, integrity, respect, and humor.

Shifts include 2pm–10pm, with opportunities for weekend or holiday coverage. CNA not required; experience in caregiving is preferred but not mandatory, and all team members are supported by ongoing

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or personal care assistant preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to provide care with kindness, patience, and respect for residents' dignity and independence.
• Dependable and flexible with shift availability (including weekends or holidays as needed).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents during mealtimes, recreational activities, and daily routines, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights, ensuring safety and attentiveness at all times.
• Assist with transferring and positioning residents, using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor residents’ health and behavior, and report any changes or concerns to nursing or leadership staff.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with residents and families.
• Encourage resident participation in social and wellness activities to enhance quality of life.
• Uphold the mission, values, and care standards of Health Dimensions Group in all interactions.
• Work alongside nurses, dining, and life enrichment staff to coordinate and deliver holistic care.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay current on care practices and community updates.

Deliver Compassionate Resident Care:
