Job summary

Nurse Next Door Santa Monica is hiring caregivers to deliver in-home senior care in the Los Angeles area. The role includes meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and support with activities of daily living per the client’s care plan.

It emphasizes flexible scheduling and direct client interaction for quality care. The position offers onboarding and training (eLearning, Shadow Shifts, mentoring) and 24/7 Care Services Center support to help you grow professionally in this rewarding

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide certification is required or employer to assist with obtaining certification.
• Background check is required.
• Negative TB skin test (within 2 years).
• Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

Duties

Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a

Registered Health Care Aide

Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements for position

Home Care Aide certified (employer can also assist with getting HCA certification) Background Check
Negative TB skin test (less than 2 years old)
