Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting
• Medication reminders
• Assist with transfers and facilitate ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house and in the community (doctor’s appointments, shopping, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals, assist clients with eating when applicable
• Assist or facilitate physical therapy exercises in the clinic and at home
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Pet care (if applicable)
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Assist with any/all activities of daily living (ADLs)

Qualifications:

• 6 months - 1 year experience in home care or other healthcare setting; experience in CNA Program (even if your state license has expired), MA, PTA/OTA, Pharmacy Tech. Students please apply!
• Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license not required)
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with the physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Compassionate and supportive
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards in the work environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
