Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Houston, TX is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to provide companionship and assistance with daily activities in clients' homes.

You will support personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and health monitoring, while documenting changes and ensuring a safe, dignified environment. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
