Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services - Hamilton is seeking a compassionate PRNCaregiver to support seniors in daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.

You will assist with personal care, medication reminders, meals, mobility, and companionship, while maintaining a safe, clean home environment and reporting any changes to a supervisor. CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role.
• Two references required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• TB test within the last year showing clear results.
• CNA, HHA and BLS/CPR training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Providing medication reminders and assistance with medication management.
• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Assisting with mobility and transferring clients.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Engaging in conversation and providing companionship to clients.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
