Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide safety and companionship for a preschool-aged autistic boy in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You will support development through meaningful activities and routine adherence.

This role requires CPR and First Aid certification and a background check. Hours are Fridays and Saturdays 4:00pm–10:30pm, with Saturdays as needed, in the child’s home and nearby park.

Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid certification is required.
• A background check is required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful interactions with the child.
• Provide companionship by incorporating favorite activities into the schedule.
• Meal preparation and feeding.
• Redirect behaviors when needed.
• Assist with toileting cleanup and changing pull ups.
• Support bedtime routine.

Job Posting

We are seeking a caregiving provider that is patient, positive, and possesses a calm demeanor that can provide safety and companionship to a pre-school aged autistic boy. Your role will be to engage with the child through meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities, while supporting his individual needs and routines.

Schedule & Pay:

• Location: Green Bay, WI
• Care provided in child's home and nearby park
• Fridays & Saturdays 4pm-10:30pm
• Saturdays are "as needed"
• Hourly Pay: $10.60

About The Child

• Playing in the backyard
• Going to the park/going on walks
• Playing with toy cars, stuffed animals
• Coloring, play dough,
• Watching tv/having it on for background noise

Responsibilities
