Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life within the safety of their home by providing personalized care? Are you warm and supportive, with experience caring for seniors or adults? If yes, Right at Home is hiring caregivers immediately to support clients in Lake and Porter counties, northwest Indiana. Caregivers are essential service providers supporting daily living activities to keep clients independent at home and out of high-risk nursing facilities. This is a full-time position only, not PRN or part-time.

Caregiver Shifts Available: Mornings, Days, Evenings, Nights, and Overnights.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship: conversation, activities, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, medication reminders
• Personal Care: assistance with meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, transfers, exercises, grooming
• Charting and Reporting: communicate concerns and condition changes to the care team to ensure health and quality of life

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months experience caring for seniors or adults
• Warmth and compassion
• Good communication and task performance skills
• Background check, BMV check, TB test, drug screen required
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation

Preferred but not required: CNA or HHA certification; pay is higher for licensed professionals.
