Job summary

Hands of Gold Homecare is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team and provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Flexible scheduling, top pay, weekly direct deposit, and health benefits are offered, with online training and fast onboarding.

Duties include companionship, housekeeping, assistance with transfers and daily living activities, meal prep, and reporting any unusual events. The role may be part-time or full-time based on client needs, with shifts Sunday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiver experience required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license/state ID and reliable transportation.
• Adequate physical endurance to perform duties including transfers and ambulation.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform housekeeping tasks.
• Assist clients with transfers and ambulation using cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Plan and assist with meals.
• Assist with toileting including bedpan or toilet.
• Report unusual events to administrator.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Complete duties per Client Service Plan.

• Offering companionship and emotional support

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
