Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in the Ozarks region. Roles include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and transportation for appointments and activities.

Caregivers will work to enhance independence and safety in clients’ homes, while maintaining professionalism and strong communication with the SHS team. A flexible schedule and meaningful, lasting relationships are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Provide Companionship.
• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc.
• Shopping and Errands.
• Meal Preparation.
• Medication Reminders.
• Pet Care.
• Light Yard Work.
• Light Handyman Services.
• Overnight Supervision.
• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant.
• Assist with Dressing, Feeding, Showering / Bathing, Mobility, Toileting / Incontinence, Memory Care.
• Arrive on Time for all Services and maintain documentation of services.
• Report changes in client condition to office staff and communicate proactively.

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

Other Responsibilities:

• Arrive on Time for all Services
• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
• Clock in and out using our care management system
