Cascade Living Group is seeking caring aides to support Waterford Grand residents in Eugene, Oregon. You will help with daily life activities, implement care plans, and tailor routines to residents' preferences, while coordinating with clinical staff.

We value reliability, compassion, and strong communication with residents, families, and team members. Weekend availability and both full-time/part-time options are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time.
• Positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents.
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families.
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Assist residents in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines.
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day.
• Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter.
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management.
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of the company.

Job description

As a Caregiver with Waterford Grand, we’re looking for you to build meaningful relationships with our residents by getting to know their personalities and preferences. On a daily basis you’ll be relied upon to assist seniors with life skills, maintain and develop personal care plans and recommend level-of-care adjustments.
