Job summary

Sevita, through its NeuroRestorative program, is seeking an Overnight Direct Care/Caregiver. You will support individuals with mobility, personal care, and daily activities, ensuring safety, dignity, and independence.

This role emphasizes compassion, clear communication, and reliability across various shifts in community settings. Starting pay is $16.25/hour with additional differentials for education and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months - 1 year of caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Valid, non-probationary driver's license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting others.
• Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility.
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served.
• Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Overnight | Direct Care / Caregiver Position

Starting Pay: $16.25/hour | Additional differentials for education & experience

• Additional $0.50/hour for 1-4 years of experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for 5+ years of experience
