Job summary

Lakeland is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents in our Oregon community. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and daily activities while ensuring safety and dignity.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, English communication skills, and a genuine desire to support seniors. Healthcare experience is valued; flexibility for evenings and weekends is required. Lakeland offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Prior caregiving experience is preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience valued.
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support residents with ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion activities.
• Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately.
• Report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care, observations, and resident interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage residents in activities and promote engagement.
