Job summary

Assurance Care & Support Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support clients with daily living activities in their homes across New Jersey.

You will follow personalized care plans, assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, while accompanying clients to appointments and documenting care. Qualifications

• Certification as an HHA or completion of a PCA training program, or willingness to obtain.
• Previous experience in home healthcare preferred.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to client needs.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if required for home visits.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• One to One Care: assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting per care plan.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and prescribed exercises.
• Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
• Light housekeeping: meal prep, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor and report changes in physical and mental condition to supervising nurse.
