Job summary

Health Wealth Safe is seeking a caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You will assist with personal hygiene, support behavioral needs, and help participants engage in activities that promote overall well‑being and independence.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable communication, and a compassionate, patient approach; a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are required to enable transportation and community

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, adaptability, teamwork and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene, support behavioral and complex needs, help participants engage in community activities, and promote personal development in areas like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Develop meaningful relationships, take initiative to enhance participants' quality of life, and work collaboratively with a supportive team.

Qualifications & Skills

High School diploma or equivalent; preferred experience in human services or care coordination; strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and time-management skills; patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible; valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
