Job summary

Valley View Village Assisted Living, a Cassia senior living community, is hiring Caregivers to join the team in Des Moines, IA. As a Caregiver, you’ll assist residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure they receive high-quality care.

We welcome both experienced caregivers and those starting their career. The role offers full-time hours, supportive team, competitive pay with raises based on experience, and benefits including health coverage and PTO.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Clear documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with desired services in a caring, safe and timely manner.
• Provide redirection, reassurance, emotional and psychological support to residents and family members.
• Assist residents with personal care with dignity and grace.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Shifts Available:
Days 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Location: 2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317
Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provide residents with desired services in a caring, safe and timely manner.
