Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate caregivers in Dayton, OH to provide daily living assistance, companionship, and support for seniors in their homes. You will help with bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal planning, medication reminders, and mobility assistance, always prioritizing dignity and safety.

We offer flexible schedules, paid trainings, recognition for hard work, and competitive pay up to $16 per hour based on experience. No formal experience required—training is provided.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Able to be reached by phone for shift details.
• Experience is preferred but not required—training is provided.
• Compassion, dependability and a caring nature are essential.
• Must be available to maintain a consistent weekly schedule of 20+ hours; part-time and full-time opportunities offered.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed
