Job summary

D&S Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring a Danville part-time caregiver. The position pays $14.50/hour, up to 31 hours per week, with shifts including Friday 8a–8p and other times based on client needs.

New hires complete two weeks of paid orientation, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. You’ll assist participants with personal hygiene, support those with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and help them engage with their community.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Please Read The Requirements Carefully

• Must have a valid full Driver's License for at least 12 months after receiving your permit/intermediate and reliable vehicle with insurance and registration used to transport clients
• Must be available to attend 2 week of paid orientation Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Please Note

We do not offer traditional Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedules. Shifts are based on client needs and may include: 16-hour overnight shifts (4:00 PM – 8:00 AM), Weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday), Varying hours depending on staffing needs
