Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver in Orinda, CA. Join our team to help seniors live safely and independently at home, delivering compassionate, reliable support with a focus on daily wellbeing and safety.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, prepare meals, and support families while maintaining a safe home environment. Training and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, or personal care aide experience preferred.
• Genuine compassion, patience, and reliability when working with elderly or disabled clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and reference verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being.
• Provide safe transportation and accompaniment to appointments or errands.
• Document and communicate changes in client condition to supervisors promptly.
