A reputable home health care company in San Jose is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide quality non-medical care and support for clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring client safety. Applicants should have a high school diploma and Home Care Aide registration, alongside a patient and reliable nature. Flexible hours are available, with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current Home Care Aide registration with California Department of Social Services.
• TB clearance and fingerprint/background check through Live Scan.
• TB clearance and fingerprint/background check through Live Scan (per CA law).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Support mobility: help with walking, transfers or use of mobility aids.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, following dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Remind clients to take medications as directed.
• Escort clients to appointments, errands or social activities as required.

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage engagement in activities.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Support mobility: help with walking, transfers, or use of mobility aids.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, following dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Remind clients to take medications (as directed by family or healthcare professionals).
• Escort clients to appointments, errands, or social activities (if required).
