Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home and/or community care per Client Service Plan.
• Perform client wellness checks and ensure client well‑being.
• Assist clients with admission documents and training other caregivers on ADLs in client homes.
• Provide non-medical support to service recipients.
• Adhere to rules, policies, and procedures; maintain accurate documentation.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregivers at Charis Hearts provide non-medical in-home and/or community care based on the Client Service Plan. Responsibilities may include:

• Client Support & Care
  Perform client wellness checks to ensure their well-being.
  • Assist clients with completing admission documents as needed.
  • Help train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in the client's home.
  • Provide non-medical support to agency service recipients.
• Compliance & Documentation
  Be familiar with and follow all rules, policies, and procedures related to service delivery.
  • Submit all required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to the individual service plan for each recipient.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client records and information unless authorized by written consent.
• Safety & Reporting
  Immediately report any incidents of injury involving the service recipient or yourself to your supervisor.
  • Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities and your supervisor.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
