Job summary

ADP is seeking a part-time Homemaker in Cape Girardeau, MO to create a well-organized, nurturing home environment. You will assist with daily living tasks, meal preparation, budgeting, and scheduling to support the Client's wellbeing.

The role emphasizes reliability, communication, and compassionate care within a household setting. Responsibilities include cleaning, meal planning, coordinating with service providers, and helping manage household routines.

Qualifications

• Experience managing household tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prepare balanced and healthy meals.
• Good communication with household members and service providers.
• Compliance with state mandated electronic visit verification via a smart device.
• Experience in childcare or eldercare is preferred.
• Knowledge of nutrition and meal planning for dietary needs.
• First aid and CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
• Manage household supplies and budget, including shopping for groceries and other essentials.
• Coordinate schedules and appointments to maintain organization and efficiency.
• Provide personal care and support to the Client, allowing family members to rest assured they are in good hands.
• Handle laundry, ironing, and clothing care to maintain household wardrobe standards.
• Maintain (not repair) household equipment and arrange for repairs or services when necessary.
• Create and implement routines and systems to improve household management and reduce stress.
