Job summary

The Lodges Company is hiring a caregiver to support residents in a 24-hour assisted living setting, delivering compassionate care and maintaining daily documentation. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and safety within a family-style home environment.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with activities of daily living, administering medications as delegated, and collaborating with staff to ensure resident well-being. CNA/HHA certification is preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Resident Satisfaction: Provide compassionate, respectful, and attentive care. Promote independence and dignity through choices and self-help support. Encourage participation in activities and social interactions. Respond promptly and appropriately to requests and concerns
2. Service Delivery – Follow care plans and service agreements. Assist residents (adults (18 year +) male and female) with activities of daily living as indicated on their individual service agreement (including, but not limited to dressing, showering, grooming, toilet assistance and escorting). Delegated tasks may include bowel programs, wound changes, catheter care, etc. Administer and document medications per RN delegation and policy. Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Report and document changes in condition immediately. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
3. Household Tasks – Assist with housekeeping and daily room order. Support laundry and linen care. Help maintain a clean and safe environment. Support residents with socialization and emotional needs. Participate in safe food handling, meal preparation, and cleanup.
4. Daily Documentation – Chart care provided and resident condition changes. Complete service delivery record, incident reports, and logs promptly. File and maintain resident charts. Review and follow updated care plans daily.
