Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving 026 is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need, including seniors and clients with developmental disabilities or dementia. The role entails in-person work across nursing homes, group homes and long-term care facilities.

You will perform personal care, monitor health status, assist with mobility, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, dignified care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
• Strong observational skills to monitor changes in client health and behavior effectively.
• Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings such as nursing homes or group homes.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities
