Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks is expanding its in-home care team to assist seniors in the Ozarks region with companionship and daily tasks in the comfort of clients' homes.

We seek empathetic, reliable individuals who will follow care plans, maintain professionalism, and proactively support our clients’ well-being and independence.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Provide companionship to clients
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, dishes)
• Shop and run errands for clients
• Meal preparation for clients
• Medication reminders
• Pet care as needed
• Light yard work
• Light handyman services
• Overnight supervision
• Incidental transportation to appointments or activities
• Arrive on time for all services
• Maintenance of documentation for services provided
• Report changes in client condition to office staff
• Communicate regularly with office staff
• Clock in/out using care management system

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Ozarks (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working with our senior population
• Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual
• Understand the importance of our services to our seniors
• Have a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
• Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS
• Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

• Provide Companionship
• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…
• Shopping and Errands
• Meal Preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Pet Care
• Light Yard Work
• Light Handyman Services
• Overnight Supervision
• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

• Assist with Dressing
• Assist with Feeding
• Assist with Showering / Bathing
• Mobility Assistance
• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
• Memory Care

Other Responsibilities:

• Arrive on Time for all Services
• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
• Clock in and out using our care management system
